Privacy Policy

Moto-Stash ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Moto-Stash mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google account. We do not store your Google password.

Bike and Maintenance Data

You may enter information about your motorcycles including make, model, year, VIN, engine hours, mileage, maintenance records, suspension setups, jetting data, and fuel maps. This data is stored to provide the App's core functionality.

Photos

You may upload photos of bikes, riders, and maintenance records. Photos are stored securely in our cloud storage and are only accessible by your account.

Location Data

If you choose to save GPS coordinates for trails and tracks, that location data is stored with your trail/track record. We do not track your location in the background or collect location data without your explicit action.

Device Information

We may collect basic device information such as device type and operating system version for the purpose of providing technical support and improving app compatibility.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the App's features
• Authenticate your account
• Store and sync your bike and maintenance data
• Enable bike transfers between users
• Send service-related emails (password reset, account verification)
• Improve the App based on usage patterns

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase, a secure cloud platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security policies to ensure that your data is only accessible by your authenticated account.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may only be shared in the following circumstances:

• Bike Transfers: When you initiate a bike transfer, the recipient receives the bike data you choose to include based on your subscription tier.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Backend services, database, authentication, and file storage
• Google Sign-In: Optional authentication method
• Google Play Services: App distribution and updates

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or use the App independently.

However, account holders (parents or legal guardians) may create rider profiles for family members, including minors under 13. In these cases, the parent or guardian is solely responsible for managing that data. Rider profiles for minors contain only a display name and bike assignments — no independent personal information is collected from the minor, and the minor does not have direct access to the App or their own account.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has independently created an account without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that account and all associated information.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date above.
